Design & Details

This deluxe costume includes a corset top, blue jersey knit skirt, neck armor, belt, gauntlets, and boot tops — so the full silhouette is covered head to toe. The faux armor pieces are constructed from metallic lamé with foam padding underneath to give them shape and structure, and the chest armor features silver sequin paneling that catches light the way real chainmail absolutely does not but probably should have. Sleeves and neck armor are metallic mesh, adding layered dimension to the overall look.

The skirt fits with an elastic waistband, the costume zips up the back, and hook and loop fasteners handle the rest — so getting into this look is significantly easier than getting into actual medieval armor. The belt is brown faux vinyl with a real metal buckle, which is a small detail that reads as genuinely intentional up close. Every piece works together to build something that looks assembled rather than thrown on.
