For ladies, there’s one historical figure that certainly looms extra large. And makes for the most costume fun! That’d be the one, the only, Annie Oakley!
Annie Oakley was perhaps the most famous female of the wild west, gaining renown as a top-caliber sharpshooter and touring superstar. She teamed up with renowned showman Buffalo Bill Cody to become a headline performer in Buffalo Bill’s Wild West touring show. So, at least in our humble opinion, there are few characters that would be more awesome to dress as if you’d like to revisit the wild west for Halloween!

The light brown dress has serious styling cues from the 1880s, complete with printed rose embellishments and attached faux suede fringe, totally faithful to the dress outfits she wore when performing. The belt adds an extra dash of wild west style with its metal buckle.
