Manger Getaway
There have been plenty of get-away trends over the years. We’ve scrolled through Air BnBs flouting yurts, shabby chic barns, and pods with clear ceilings that let you look at the stars. But this Christmas, we were looking for a special getaway and found just the place to stay! It was an actual manger! The interior was strewn with fresh hay, there was a resident teacup donkey, and a sparkling star lighting the main room. Unlike the original manger, this one had wifi and running water, but in all other ways, visitors to this Manger AirBnB got the complete holy family experience!
Design & Details
This Joseph costume looks like it’s straight out of a bible story. It was designed by our in-house creative team, which means it’s designed with quality in mind, which makes it a great choice for the Christmas pageant unit. It features a floor-length robe with subtle stripes layered over a long-sleeve tunic with a brown sash. Top this off with a long beard and a shepherds crook. Lightweight and flowing, this will be a costume that can be used over and over again. Just don’t forget to invite the rest of the holy family on any outings!

Are you ready to get into character? Consider taking a trip to a farm to meet a donkey. Now, imagine riding that donkey for weeks on end in order to register for the census! Yikes! Now, all you have to do is memorize your lines and make small talk after the pageant is over.
